On my hp laptop, connected through sbcglobal.net, experiences a 16-25 second lag between the "verifying system..." screen and the appearance of the game board.  To many inexperienced PC'rs this might look like a malfunction.  Perhaps making the 'verify..' screen display longer, or add a 'please wait...' type display.  The game plays well and really like the word-builder feature...
