I would suggest that the last letters played be outlined in a different colour.

I like sbrennan's idea of last word being in different color so we know what the other player made by just looking at the board... to know the points they made in same way would be a bonus. BUT, I am very happy with game and appreciate that we get to play. Myself and friends were "Hasbro" players for years and haven't found a good replacement until this version. Thanks for all you do here.

This is a great idea. I finally had a chance to add this feature. You will notice after you install version 0.0.66. You will need to play one turn with this version before you'll notice it. I've colored the last played tiles navy. blanks will also be navy on the turn after they are played but will return to green on subsequent turns.
