Currently when it is not your turn the tiles are not visible in the tile tray. You can look in the Title Bar of the Email Scrabble window to see whose turn it is. Once it is your turn you will be sent an email. Click on the "Play" link in the email to play your turn. It's important that you click on the "Play" link that comes in the email so that the game will be loaded for your turn. Let me know if this didn't address the problem that you are having.

Sorry for such a late reply. When you use the "Start New Game" button to start a new game, and a player is chosen to go first, the server sends out a Turn email notifying that player that it is their turn, even if the player who was selected to go first is you (the player who started the game). So, once you start a new game, just close the game board that you used to start the game and wait for the Turn email to arrive in your inbox. When your turn email arrives, click on the Play link and your tiles should be visible.
