Is there some way to recover a game if an e-mail seems to have disappeared?
Specifically, my opponent traded tiles for her turn. Following this, as far as I know, I received no e-mail announcing my turn. (Is there some bug related to trading tiles, other than the one mentioned where the same tiles are returned--a problem which I believe has been fixed by now.)
Anyway, she still has the e-mail from her turn. Can she somehow re-play that turn in order to get things rolling again?
Any advice would be appreciated.
To play a turn you can click on the "Play" link of any email that you have received for a particular game. The "Play" link in the generated email only identifies the game and the player not the specific turn, so if you have an email from a previous turn you can still play with that email. If you can't find any previous emails for your game, send an email to the support email address and let me know some of the details of your game (i.e. the email address that you were using for the game) and I'd be happy to resend your turn. I do hope to have an auto resend feature added by the end of the summer, but it will depend on how much spare time I can find.
As for missing emails, there are several reasons, outside of my control, that emails may not be delivered. It's possible that it was collected as spam. In any case, let me know if it continues and I'll try to figure out why it's not being delivered.
