Is game broken?

Dear knowledgeable Person,

I've been trying to get beyond downloading the software to play the game using my PC.  I have a few questions if anyone could please get me up to speed:

1.  If I want to play a game with one specific person, why do I have to enter 2 e-mail addresses?  Or,...am I supposed to enter my address and the person I want to play with?  If that's the case, why does the software randomly pick which e-mail address to go with?

2.  I can't figure out where I pick, get, or uncover my tiles from.  I tried clicking on everything on and around the board that looked like a button and no tiles appeared.  If they are supposed to appear when you press "Play" they don't.

3.  Are there any accessible detailed procedures for steps to take with the software in order to correctly do what needs to be done during play.  I know how to play the game of Scrabble from the board game I have.  What I need to know how to do is how to make the mechanics of playing the game work.

Please advise: Lyndon Reggio - LReggio@cinci.rr.com, or 513-984-9548.

Hi Lyndon,

1. When starting a new game, enter the email address and name of each player that will play the game. The random selection is to choose which player will start (Similar to having everyone draw tiles from the tilebag and whoever draws closest to "A" gets to start in the boardgame version).

2. When it is your turn, you will recieve an email with a "Play" link to play your turn. Just click on the "Play" link and the game will open and your tiles will be visible at the bottom of the window. The "Play" button on the website is used to start a new game only. Your tiles will only be visible on your turn.

3. Currently there's no detailed documentation, only these forums to ask questions. So if you have questions about the game, let me know and I will answer here.

Happy Scrabbling, David
